Description

There’s a quiet tension in Stretched like something being held, maybe for too long. It lives between stillness and strain, where we hold ourselves together while carrying what we can’t always name. It also holds memories of long hours in the bathroom—learning our hair, crying over it, working through it. Stretched reflects Black womanhood in its complexity: tender, tired, strong, and still standing.
